Chocolingua follows a unique, research-based approach that blends Comprehensible Input (CI) and TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) into a fully immersive, play-based experience. Students acquire Spanish naturally through stories, movement, music, and meaningful conversation, rather than memorization.
Our curriculum is seasonal and theme-based, designed to build skills gradually and meaningfully. Progress is assessed through observation, participation, and end-of-season Can-Do snapshots, which show what students can understand and communicate in Spanish.
Students learn real, practical Spanish used in everyday life. At Chocolingua, we teach neutral, standard Spanish that is widely understood across Latin America and Spain, while naturally exposing learners to a variety of accents and expressions. This approach builds a versatile foundation and helps students communicate confidently with Spanish speakers around the world.
Monthly tuition covers weekly class instruction (Immersion Pods or other courses).
The annual membership provides access to additional resources, progress tools, cultural experiences, and community benefits that support learning beyond the classroom.
Annual membership includes curated online resources, progress tracking tools, seasonal cultural experiences, parent communication, and early or exclusive access to workshops, courses, and special events.
This model allows us to offer programs more consistently, plan enrollment carefully, and provide families with predictable pricing, while enhancing the overall learning experience with added resources and support.
